For more years in my adult life than I can count, I have tried and failed to grow tulips. Tulips are my favorite flower. And, it’s actually incredible how many ways I have found to not succesfully grow tulips.


DC is known for its cherry Blossoms that bloom out every spring. For about 5 days, the entire Tidal Basin and National Mall areas are covered in light  pink fluffy petals.
