Glimpse at My Nightstand

My reading choices are always a bit diverse. I tend to rotate through a few different genres on a regular basis. If you want to know what you will find on my nightstand at any given time, it is probably a few selections from a broad array of topics.

But over the next few weeks I will give you a glimpse into what you might find on my nightstand at any given time, along with some recommendations.

First Category:

1. Histories & Historical Biographies from 15th, 16th and 17th Century Europe (Britain)

I love the era of British History from the Plantagenets through the Elizabethan era. The rise and fall of the figures and families, in the Wars of the Roses, the Tudor Dynasty period, the Reformation, and the rise of Elizabethan art, literature, and culture just fascinate me.

My favorite writer on the period: Alison Weir. By far. Some of her best work in my opinion:
