Finding F. Scott

Recently, Bruce and I went on a scavenger hunt to find F. Scott Fitzgerald’s grave. It can be found a beautiful old cemetery located in Rockville, MD, and we just happened to be in the area for an afternoon.

Our trip there beautifully combined our mutual love of literature, Bruce’s love for writers, and mine of cemeteries. Here are some pictures of our adventure:

I was thrilled to discover the epigraph on F Scott’s tombstone is the closing line from The Great Gatsby:

“So we beat on, boats against the current, born back ceaselessly into the past.
