First things first, the “Cathedral of Barcelona,” or the “Barcelona Cathedral” is actually named The Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia (and all of these names come in Spanish and Catalan, as well, just to keep it confusing for tourists).
It is a simply gorgeous Gothic Cathedral that was built in the 14th century. So breathtaking, that I will let the pictures speak for themselves!
While we were there, they were actually allowing roof top tours on a limited basis while some renovations were taking place. We went up (of course) and here is what we saw from the top:
