Rome: Borghese Park

 

Every day that we were in Rome, we walked down through Borghese Park. It is a beautiful, incredible – HUGE park with immaculate gardens and an amazing villa in the middle. Here’s some shots:

It was the original home 16th century Cardinal Scipione Borghese, nephew of Pope Paul V. It was originally a former vineyard. Once completed it was the most extensive gardens built in Rome since Antiquity.
