Seattle: Chihuly Glass Garden

Chihuly Garden and Glass, in addition to being a simply amazing museum, offers on of the most incredible outdoor gardens I have ever walked through! After passing through the museum, you exit into a large glass hanger. In it is possibly the largest work in the museum. image Outside, are several additional large works that pop brightly against the grey sky on an overcast day (like the one I visited during). They echo bits of nature – palm trees and boulders. imageThe works in the garden are also paired with and compliment the plants all around them. It’s impressive work on behalf of the gardeners as well. Even on a rainy day the colors and whimsy of the works make it feel a little bit like walking through Alice’s Wonderland garden. image image image image image image image image image image image imagePosted from WordPress for Android
