Seattle: Where to Eat

I have visited Seattle a couple of times, and every time I am impressed by the natural beauty, the fabulous art and some really great food. If you happen to be in the area, here are some food options worth checking out:

The Purple Cafe

The Purple Cafe, located right in the downtown area, has just wonderful food, a great environment, and a wine tower with enough options for even the biggest wine lover. Great choice for lunch or dinner.

Japonessa is an amazing sushi restaurant across the street from the Seattle Art Museum. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the best sushi I have ever had in my life. I craved it for two years after my last visit. The cocktails are also incredible. And the restaurant is super cute and trendy.

Beecher Handmade Cheese Factory

Down in the Pike Place Market, just a few store fronts away from the famous original Starbucks is the Beecher Cheese Factory. They are a regionally famous artisonal cheese producer. The shop features hundreds of varieties of cheeses. But the best thing to do there,  in my opinion, is grab a grilled cheese sandwich, and eat it while sitting on the milk can stools and watching the cheese makers work right in front of you!
